Physical: balancing the body

In the Pansori Approach the body is of vital importance. It is involved in everything we do, experience, think or make. It is our personal temple, yet it is the place we most seldom visit. We live in a world that overestimates the mind and ignores the inner wisdom of the body.

The body however has her own wisdom and warns us when we neglect nature's way. Listening to these warnings brings about a first change in consciousness and habits. This can lead to a connection to the body that is joyful and more balanced.

The body is always striving for balance. Eyes and ears are engaged in finding the balance to walk and stand upright. The inner organs are active to keep the digestive system in balance. When there is an infection, the fever awakens and intensifies the body's immune system. Every body system is related to the others and their interaction takes place day and night.

Stress and trauma throw a person out of balance. The physical imbalance after such an event creates blockages in the central nervous system and other body-systems. Through direct subtle and careful bodywork Pansori unfreezes these blockages and restores balance so more energy becomes available to deal with the after-effects of trauma and stress.
