Research

The field of trauma healing is in a state of flux. Many new insights in the nature of trauma have come up. One of those is the decisive effect of trauma on the body.

Brain research has made clear, that the nervous system is strongly effected by traumatic events. The traditional methods of trauma healing do not address that level effectively. An lively discussion and research about the best possible treatment is going on. Most of the scientific research methods are not fit to study the effects of trauma healing methods. They are either based on questionnaires used to interview traumatized people or on extensive brain research on humans and animals.

Neither of them can describe the experience of resolving trauma. For the Pansori Approach it is highly favorable to combine her work with research.

The method is innovative and it is important to gather information about the impact and the results.

The trainers write extensive reports about their experiences and through the regular evaluations a body of knowledge is assembled that will provide a base for future research.
